On Sunday, Sept. 23, Premiere Philadelphia will play host to two major men’s grooming competitions, sponsored by SalonCentric, Andis and BarberEvo Magazine, and open to licensed barbers, cosmetologists and current students.

The two competition categories, Fantastic Fades and Limit-Free Style, will test competitors’ skills out in the open, right on the show floor.

Whether it’s a traditional pompadour or skin-tight undercut, the Fantastic Fades category seeks out exceptional clipper or trimmer work to produce the finest fade. For the Limit-Free Style category, artistry and pristine skill are expected to be showcased.

The judging panel will feature no less than three master barbers with a minimum of ten years of professional experience and demonstrated leadership in the barbering community. Entrants will be judged for their live model work based on technique, originality, style and tools.

If you’re left wanting more men’s grooming and live competition after the Premiere Philadelphia show, SalonCentric, Andis and BarberEvo will be sponsoring this competition all over again at Premiere Birmingham on Oct. 21 to continue the quest for the best.
