FRENCH BALAYAGE
FREEHAND TECHNIQUE
Application: 1 Point Technique
Timing: Up to 50 min
1. SECTION
PREP
Establish a profile parting, then an ear to ear parting to create 4 total section.
2. FORMULA
MIXING
Blond Studio 9 Lightening Powder + 30 Volume Blond Studio 9 Oil Developer 1:1 ratio.
3. BALAYAGE
APPLICATION
Start applying the Balayage with 30-Volume Blond Studio 9 Oil Developer, from the lowest part of the sides, with the “1-point technique” (diagonal application). Use a board for the ends and saturating with more product than in the lengths. Continue this application throughout the crown and sides. Process up to 50 minutes or until desired level of lift is achieved.
4. FORMULA
MIXING
Mix DIA Light 9.13 and 9 Volume DIActivateur Developer 1:1.5 ratio.
5. MID-LENGTH & ENDS
GLOSS
Apply the DIA Light gloss with a brush over the lightened hair. Massage the product into the hair for a better penetration and process for 2-10 Minutes.
6. RINSE & TREAT
FINISH
Wet, emulsify, rinse and shampoo once with L’Oréal Professionnel LUO Post Shampoo. Condition and preserve color radiance with Serie Expert Vitamino A-OX conditioner.

Application: Multi-Points Technique

Comb and section the hair from ear to ear. Subdivide the hair in the back part of the head by the occipital bone.

Mix Blond Studio 9 Lightening Powder + 30 Volume Blond Studio 9 Oil Developer 1:1.5 ratio
3. HIGHLIGHTS
APPLICATION
Using L’Oréal Professionnel foils for separation and control, begin to Balayage the hair using the “multi-point technique” for each section while approaching the roots. Paint multi-point sections, in foils all over the head until the crown. Process up to 50 minutes or until desired level of lift is achieved.
