Step-By-Step
Step 1: Prep and Protect
Start with clean, damp hair. Dispense the BLOW&SET Lotion onto your hands, then evenly distribute it onto your client’s hair from roots to ends using your fingers. This heat-activated formula will provide a flawless foundation for your style, providing heat protection and adding volume and shine. Next, blow dry the hair smooth using a round brush, focusing on lifting the roots for added fullness.
Step 2: Blow Dry and Set
Once the hair is dry, it’s time to create loose waves. Go in with two Velcro rollers at the top of your client’s hair first—this will help add some volume to their fringe area and ensure maximum lift.
Step 3: Wave Like a Pro
Take a one-inch, long-barrel curling iron, place a small section of hair underneath, and wrap it around the barrel. Repeat this same technique on your next section but place the barrel on top of the hair instead, and wrap it around. Continue curling the rest of the hair using the same technique, alternating curl directions until their entire head is complete.
