Starting Level: 9/10
Split Look Pink Formula: Equal parts Pulp Riot Rapid Toner Pale Pink and Rose Gold with 5g Pulp Riot Faction8 -55 Booster + 6-Volume
Split Look Purple Formula: Equal parts Pulp Riot Rapid Toner Moonstone and Icy + 6-Volume
Pro Tip: I like to let my Pulp Riot Rapid Toners sit out for about 5-10 minutes prior to application in case of client scalp sensitivity. Apply formulas to towel-dried hair and processed for 20 minutes.
Blake Reed Evans (@blakereedevans)
Starting Level: Lifted to palest blonde
Formula: Redken Shades EQ Bonder Inside1 oz. 010P + 0.5VV + 1 oz. Clear
Pro Tip: When you are formulating, always imagine the undertone you see in the hair is mixed in the bowl with the colors you are mixing. For example, if the hair is lifted to yellow and your goal is gray/silver, but you planned to apply 09T on top of it, the hair would end up turning a pale green color due to the Shades EQ Titanium series living near blue on the color wheel. In this case, you would need to eliminate the yellow with 09P, then apply a second gloss of 09T and 08T to get a silver tone.
