1. Zone 1: Nape to Lower Crown Ridge
Starting in the center, take 1-inch vertical subsections. Palm Hinge, pulling out to 1.5-inches away from the head and cut to the ends. Repeat throughout Zone 1. On RNBP and LNBP sections, overdirect to previous section to maintain length.

2. Zone 2: Lower Crown Ridge to Upper Crown Ridge
Leaving out Zone 1, start in the center taking 1-inch subsections. Cut section using Hinge-In-Motion with gravity as the guide. Repeat throughout Zone 2. From EB forward on each side, over direct to previous section to maintain length.

3. Blow Dry
Apply a dime-sized amount of MHMC Shine On Defining Foam and three to five pumps of Soaring High Volumizing Blowout Mist. Blow dry using a Denman brush to create an airy style with movement.

4. Zone 3a: RBP to RBP leaving out Zone 3b
Starting in the center back, take 1-inch sections and Gravity Cut to remove weight and create movement. Continue taking radial sections until you reach the EB on both sides. From EB forward, Gravity Cut, overdirecting to EB to preserve length in the front.

5. Zone 3b
Holding the section with cutting hand, turn fingers toward bridge of the nose, place non-cutting hand on top and turn fingers to create a half twist. Cut using deep point cutting to create a soft fringe.

6. Curtain Fringe
To create more of a curtain fringe, split the fringe in half and over direct left section to right TBP and use X Factor to cut hair as moving section down toward the tip of the nose. Repeat the same motion on the right side by overdirecting to the left TBP.

7. Finishing
To show off the texture of the cut, use a flat iron to create a soft wave pattern in the hair. Extend the life of the style with MHMC City Slay Shielding Hairspray.Factor to cut hair as moving section down toward the tip of the nose. Repeat the same motion on the right side by overdirecting to the left TBP.
