Beauty professionals from across the industry are coming together September 17, 2023, for the launch of Beauty With a Purpose (@beautywithapurposefoundation). The one-day celebratory event will feature beauty industry leaders, artists, and brands supporting professionals at all levels of their career through informational seminars, tools, and inspiration. Founder and CEO of Pink Pewter, Mireya Villareal (@mireya_villarreal_), states, “Our aspiration for this event is to invigorate the upcoming generation of beauty professionals, equipping them with a comprehensive toolkit, knowledge base, endless inspiration, and invaluable mentorship—all essential components for fostering the growth of the beauty community.”
Beauty With a Purpose started from the deep-seated need for an event that spotlights motivation, inspiration, networking, and the spirit of giving back. The Pink Pewter Foundation and Daisie Foundation (@daisiefoundation), as sponsors, are offering a variety of grants and scholarships to applicants who are eager to venture into the beauty industry and showcase financial difficulties hindering their progression into the next stages.
The nationally recognized organization Daisie Foundation, strives to empower women and children in overlooked communities by providing ongoing opportunities to succeed and access to resources. The Pink Pewter Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created with the goal of providing inspiration, resources and financial assistance grants to beauty professionals.
By joining forces to launch Beauty With a Purpose, these two organizations are able to channel their collective passion towards nurturing the next generation of beauty professionals, providing them with the necessary platform to create mentorship opportunities, build relationships, and give back to the community.
